SAMADHI

It was first revealed to the public in January of 2020 in Miami’s famed Design District with a mass meditation for global peace and unity where it was displayed for two weeks.

SAMADHI was created for display in public spaces all over the world as reminder that peace is found first within… and then it ripples out to our communities, and the planet.

SAMADHI was created for display in public spaces to represent a new world, where peace is found within… from where it ripples out to our communities, and the planet.

New vision / essence / new world

In the ancient language of Sanskrit, SAMADHI (सम आ धा) means: “the highest state of Awareness”

It is the perfect name for an interactive Mindfuless sculpture that inspires us to connect with our highest selves (or heart) - welcoming all genders, all races, and all wisdom teachings.

SAMADHI is a place (it’s a space) to listen, to breath, and release our tension.

I am part of the greater human family, where we are all potential shamans, healers, and artists, as a revelation of the creative spirit to the world. Art is a life-changing act.
— Antuan

“Samadhi” can generate extraordinary states to cultivate non-distracted attention in daily life and on retreat. With relative ease, as a friendly, wise approach to the meditative states that lead to liberating insights. That, according to the “Samadhi” state of intense concentration achieved through meditation.

Antuan, a seasoned contemporary artist, has always been concerned in creating art through an integrated experience between humans, the natural environment, and the cosmos. As a pass to an artistic proposal that leads to places of universal intimacy and an opportunity of equilibrium in our positive inner thoughts.

The result is an artistically impeccable work of art and a profoundly moving experience for the viewer,
as an integration of all the dimensions of nature present in humans. That is the case of the “Samadhi”
art project.

In that regard, the artist integrates the experience of “Samadhi” with his conceptual artistic approach.
As an artist, he works with a leading team of the Mindfulness community in South Florida to imagine, research, create and produce a sublime artwork that propels the power of art as a participative experience. To explore inside ourselves, the true nature of ourselves outside of our mind, existence,
and consciousness.

The “Samadhi,” is one of Antuan’s latest artworks in parallel to his iconic series “Viral Geometry” exhibited at Building Bridges Art Exchange in Los Angeles; the “Other Dimension,” presented as a one-person show through the whole Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami; and “Vibration 7.8” exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Dominican republic, among other series.

The “Samadhi” is conceptualized as a sculptural piece for spiritual harmony and physical calm within an internal or outdoor public space. Especially for museums and art venues that incorporate mindfulness into its learning programs as a valuable skill.

Furthermore, to contribute to help people connect with and appreciate art, as well as to focus on their own mental and spiritual health.

The variates of installation facilities with Samadhi is in public spaces or communities that would be the new station , of meditation, education and contemplation with mother earth.

To facilitate the cost of production, we can send the mold and forge the piece in the same space or land where it would be afixed to.

The Samadhi is the center where through practice of contemplation, meditation, yoga, and mindfullness we connect with the here and now. Which facilitates the restauration of the connection with you pure state, connecting the heavens with the earth, the source of creation.

SAMADHI is conceptualized as a sculpture for spiritual harmony and physical calm within an internal or outdoor environment. The artwork’s graceful minimalism integrates art, science, spirit, and design; uniquely defining a transcendent "safe space" for people to begin their Mindfulness journey.

- The tridimensional artwork is carefully designed not only in its formal graceful minimalist, but in its functional design and materials capable of sustaining intense use, weight, and environmental elements. Art, science, spirit, and design all integrated into the artwork.

- “SAMADHI” is proposed to be displayed as a unique artwork or as a series of multiple sculptural elements for varied designs for art in public places, as a space of enlightenment, to loosen up and experience the museum in a new way.
